Session 49: The Battle – Victory Belongs to the Lord

In this powerful and encouraging episode, Teri Pope addresses the reality that we all face battles of all shapes and sizes. Some are physical, some emotional, some spiritual. Some are fought in public, and others in the quiet of our own hearts. But the Bible offers countless stories of victory for those who trust in God.

Teri turns to 2 Chronicles 20:15, where the Lord declares to King Jehoshaphat and the people of Judah, "Do not fear or be dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours but God's." She reminds us that we are not fighting alone. The same God who delivered Israel, who brought down walls, and who raised the dead is fighting for us today.

This episode is an invitation to stop striving in our own strength and to let God fight our battles. Whether you are facing a diagnosis, a broken relationship, a financial crisis, or a spiritual attack, the battle belongs to the Lord. Victory is not found in our ability but in His faithfulness.

Scripture Focus:

2 Chronicles 20:15 (NASB) – "And he said, 'Listen, all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and King Jehoshaphat: This is what the Lord says to you: "Do not fear or be dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours but God's."'"
