Romans: Lesson 21 – Bring Salvation
Romans: Lesson 21 – Bring Salvation
Obedient to the Call, Salvation Is Always There
Scripture Focus: Romans 10:14-21 (NASB)
In this convicting and hope-filled lesson, Chris Pope examines the necessity of sharing the gospel. Paul asks a series of powerful questions: How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? How shall they believe in Him whom they have not heard? How shall they hear without a preacher? How shall they preach unless they are sent?
Chris reminds us that we always need to be obedient to the call of God. We are often so focused on the world and our own lives that we neglect the urgent task of sharing the hope we have in Christ. Yet even in our failure, salvation is always there for us. God's arms are always open, and His invitation is always extended.
Paul quotes Isaiah: "All day long I have stretched out My hands to a disobedient and obstinate people." But the good news is that faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ. This lesson challenges us to be obedient to the Great Commission, to open our mouths, and to bring the message of salvation to a world that desperately needs it.

Scripture Focus:
Romans 10:14-21 (NASB) – "How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach unless they are sent? Just as it is written: 'How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news of good things!' However, they did not all heed the good news; for Isaiah says, 'Lord, who has believed our report?' So faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ. But I say, surely they have never heard, have they? On the contrary: 'Their voice has gone out into all the earth, And their words to the ends of the world.' But I say, surely Israel did not know, did they? First Moses says: 'I will make you jealous with those who are not a nation, With a foolish nation I will anger you.' And Isaiah is very bold and says: 'I was found by those who did not seek Me, I became manifest to those who did not ask for Me.' But as for Israel He says: 'All the day long I have stretched out My hands to a disobedient and obstinate people.'"
